The Downtown Diving Club is a gay and lesbian friendly diving club which is operated in co-operation between the Downtown Swim Club and the Central Toronto Diving Club. Divers participate in the Masters Program through the Central Toronto Diving Club, which practices at the University of Toronto Athletic Centre. For IGLA and other gay competitions, or when it is appropriate to compete as a group of gay and lesbian divers, the divers come under the Downtown Diving Club umbrella.
Unlike the other sports through the Downtown Swim Club, participation in the Downtown Diving Club is seasonal. The fall season runs from September - December, and the winter season runs from January to April (15 weeks each).
