Make a Difference in the DSC
Hey DSC’ers!
Do you have an opinion about how you would like your club to run? Come on, who doesn’t? Well then, why not make your voice heard? Over the next couple of months several of us on the current executive may be approaching you regarding a position on the next executive. Now is the time to think about how you could get involved in helping to shape how our club is run.
Believe it or not, it does not run itself. Though all it requires is a small handful of volunteers and a small amount of your time, to ensure that we all get to practice the sport we love. Without an executive there is no pool time, no socials, no website, no one coordinating swim meets, no one fundraising. Without you, there is basically no DSC. So please consider giving some of your time back to the club!! :)
And for anyone wanting to stretch their organizational skills, up for your consideration: All Out 2013 Swim Meet Manager. I won’t lie, this is not a small job - but it can be very rewarding! And you will be backed up by a fantastic bunch of people: all of us!! So if you feel you’re up to the task, it’s never too early to step up and let us know!
